The EasyPlex Story

EasyPlex was established in late 2020, by three friends named Adam, Bryon, and Chris (That’s us...)

In mid-November of 2020, the oil and gas company we had all been working for, for the last ten years, was sold by it’s investors. We were left jobless, with no where to turn, in an already downturned economy as a result of the pandemic.

Adam had been travelling back and fourth to work up in the remote little town of Grande Cache for over a decade. The news of the sale meant the three of us would no longer work together.

Faced with this, we began working on viable business plans in an effort to start something of our own. There were many ideas on the table but each plan had its own uncertainties. One night Adam stumbled across a Glowforge ad on Youtube and began the long rabbit hole into laser cutting.

It wasn’t long before the idea morphed into reality. The company (Acrilico Inc.) was registered and incorporated.

After over a month of ordering acrylic samples from near, far, and wide, we selected the best quality samples and put in our first order.

As the day our product was due to land in Vancouver, we prepared to pick up the order ourselves. This would meant we would set off on a 48 hour/3700 Km bullet run. We borrowed a trailer, rented a truck, and we were on our way.

Okay, not so fast…it wasn’t that easy….. We planned on leaving at 7:00pm on the day we were journeying off from southern Alberta, to the overcast lands of Vancouver, British Columbia.

Our Mission

EasyPlex intends on delivering affordable high quality acrylic materials, made using industry leading cast moulding technology. We stand behind our quality, and have ensured our packages are shipped with three barriers of protection to avoid damage during delivery. We are new to this business, but have passionately followed crafters and fabricators with admiration, and have since become crafters ourselves. We want to provide a product name you can trust with great prices, fast shipping, and an ever-growing selection of gloss, matte, mirrored, textured, shimmering, patterned, and others to come.

All EasyPlex products are tested in our production facility, to ensure it will cut perfectly for the customer. We are always looking to engage and promote crafting communities. We are always open to suggestion, so if you’re not seeing something, let us know, and we’ll make it happen.
